… I have hardly done anything since my last post,
apart from some blind contour drawings for Carla Sonheim's LifeBook14 assignment, and a first attempt at a Princess for The Year of the Fairy Tale.
Below the Princess, and her Cat, you find:
a Zebra
Flowers in a vase, and a House (oops, these are contour drawings, but they are not 'blind'!)
another Zebra
The last zebra reminds me a bit of some of Kurt Vonnegut's drawings or the beginning of a Klee. It's a neat little drawing.
ReplyDeleteI love contour drawings! They always look full of energy, as do these.
ReplyDeleteI really like the vase of flowers - a real sense of 'connectedness' (don't think that's an actual word but it will do!!)
ReplyDeleteI just love your wee zebras...
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me how much we don't see until we really, really look, and trace the outline and contours with the pen - these are great exercises to bypass the critical brain and just let your hand do the talking...
Love 'em x
