Inspiration: Paper Costume

A week ago, I visited the wonderful exhibition of Isabelle de Borchgraves reconstruction of some of the De Medici costumes - all created out of paper

  2. Wow!! I love the collar detail on the 3rd - just exquisite! How can they possibly be made from paper?? They so look like fabric, esp. the frilly lace...
    PS The V in the moon pic is indeed the window pane - we have the ghastly mock-Tudor panes - I hate them (they block a lot of light), but the house is rented...
